OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2009. Sheremetyevo International Airport and LLC Aon Rus – Insurance Brokers held an open tender for the insurance of the Airport’s property. MAKS Insurance Group (CJSC MAKS) and SOGAZ Group were announced winners of the tender. Four insurance companies in all took part in the tender, reported the press-centre of SOGAZ.

According to the insurance contract, the Airport’s property will be insured against all risks. The total amount of coverage is RUR 14.5 billion. The participation interest of each co-insurer is 50%.

The insurance contract will cover all the property interests of the insured party related to ownership, use and disposal of the property, in particular, buildings, structures, equipment, property being mounted or going through startup and commissioning procedures, reserves stored at warehouses, and other property.

The insurance contract signed for a period of one year is protected by obligatory property reinsurance contracts with CJSC MAKS and SOGAZ Insurance Group.
