Aeroflot Carried Passengers of KD AVIA & Passengers from Far East
OREANDA-NEWS. October 02, 2009. Aeroflot has carried over 11,000 passengers of KD AVIA from various locations in Russia and other countries. About 7,000 passengers have been carried on domestic flights, over 4,000 on international, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.
Over 2,000 people were carried to and from Kaliningrad, 1,800 – to/from Omsk, Munich – 960, Chelyabinsk – 936, Dusseldorf – 794, Hannover – 634 passengers.
In the period of May 15 to September 23, Aeroflot flew 26,000 passengers under the government’s social program for carriage of Far East passengers. The major part of them – 8,423 – were carried to and from Vladivostok; 7,265 passengers – to/from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky; 6,165 – Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk; 2,806 – to/from Khabarovsk; 1,135 – to/from Magadan.
Aeroflot JSC is steadily implementing its socially oriented policy for social groups needing support. The company is running programs to provide free or discounted tickets to veterans, victims of the Leningrad siege, physically challenged people, and sick people requiring surgeries or treatment abroad. The company’s social activities are being implemented consistently and systematically, based on complex social programs.
