OREANDA-NEWS. October 02, 2009. For some time now, EMT has offered a communication package for individuals who have hearing impairments - Special Package, reported the press-centre of EMT.

The prices in the Special Package are reduced – text and multimedia messages (which are most important for hearing disable individuals) cost only EEK 0.74 and the same price is valid for both regular and video calls between users of the Special Package as well. The selection of mobile phone models with video call support is increasing continuously and prices for phones with video call capability are decreasing – this makes it possible for hearing disabled individuals to use sign language via mobile phone.

Prices in the Special Package - regular and video calls to EMT network cost EEK 1.53 per minute, calls to Elion network are also priced at EEK 1.53 and calls to other networks cost EEK 1.95 per minute. Monthly free remains at EEK 29.50.

Subscription to the Special Package is done via organizations for hearing disable individuals, e.g. Estonian Association of the Deaf.
