IDGC of North-West Invested into Development RUR 1.3 bln
OREANDA-NEWS. September 30, 2009. One of the primary strategic tasks of IDGC of North-West is ensuring reliable and uninterrupted power supply of consumers. In order to achieve it, the company has developed and is successfully realizing the repair program valued at more than RUR 1.1 billion.
The annual repair plan by the current moment has been 69% executed. The total of funds spent by the branches on the actions of the repair program is RUR 759.7 million. The plan calendar has been 97% implemented. The "Kolenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West has implemented it by 103%.
The IDGC of North-West's branches have cleared 9.4 thousand ha of the area for 6-150 kV OL (overhead lines). Repair of 767 6-20/0.4 kV TS (transformer substations) has been carried out. All above-specified works of the repair program are carried out with overfulfilment of the plan calendar.
The planned volume of capital investments for realization of the IDGC of North-West's 2009 investment projects is RUR 2.26 billion. The volume of investments into development of the grid complex following the results of a half of the year has exceeded RUR 1.3 billion. The annual plan is 62% executed.
The Company has put into operation 140 km of 0.4-150 kV PLs (power lines), 35-150 kV substations and 6-20/0.4 kV transformer substations of the 44.7 MVA total capacity.
In 2009, the works on reconstruction and construction of large electric grid objects rendered material influence on passing the autumn and winter period 2009/2010. They raised reliability of electric grid supply of consumers.
A large-scale reconstruction of S-69 (110kV) substation located in the city of Polarnye Zori (the "Kolenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West) was completed in August. The total expenses for reconstruction of the S-69 were nearby RUR 100 million. A closed switching centre (CSC-10kV) was installed at the substation; ground-fault neutralizers and auxiliary transformers were installed; the new economic block and new protection of the substation territory were installed; all necessary switching works and equipment debugging were carried out.
On April 10, the "Novgorodenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West completed construction of the OL “Progress 110 kV Substation - branch line at Moshenskoe Substation with an additional cell at the Progress Substation”. The total cost of objects of the investment project was RUR 150.7 million. The construction of a new cell at the "Progress" substation is a component part of the general investment project of the "Novgorodenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West on strengthening reliability of electric power supply of pump stations of the main oil pipeline “Kstovo - Yaroslavl - Kirishi – Primorsk” (JSC “AK Transneftprodukt”).
A complex reconstruction of the S-5 Substation (110/35/6 kV) of the Northern Electric Networks (the "Kolenergo" branch of IDGC of North-West) goes on. The works should be completed in October; after this the installed capacity of the substation will increase by 23 MVA up to 143 MVA. It will enable to connect to new consumers to the grids of “Kolenergo”, to remove deficiency of capacity and to raise reliability of power supply in the central part of Murmansk. According to the investment program, the volume of capital investments into reconstruction of the substation is RUR 76.7 million.
