OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2009. Russia is ready to enlarge its cooperation with investors in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin said during VTB Capital investment forum on Tuesday.

“We are ready to enlarge our cooperation in the space and nuclear industries,” Putin said.

Putin said that the Russian Government was interested in creating new productions in the fields of processing, machine building, telecommunications, bio-technologies and pharmaceutics.

“Projects like production of sea equipment, means of transportation, car components, equipment for oil and gas production,” Putin said.

“We urge our businessmen to be more active in the regions, to stop marking time at the same already crowded sites, to create new growth points and to go to places neglected by investors so far but having all conditions for profitable business,” Putin said.
