OREANDA-NEWS. September 29, 2009. OAO NOVATEK’s (the “Company”) senior management participated in a working visit to the Yamalsky district of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region. During the visit, NOVATEK CEO, Leonid Mikhelson, met with the Head of the Yamalsky district, Andrey Nesteruk, to discuss the Company’s future plans in the region.

The working visit included a presentation by NOVATEK to Yamalsky district municipal authorities and local indigenous communities regarding the Company’s perspectives on the development of the South-Tambeyskoye field (the field is located within the district’s territory).

The working visit concluded with the signing of a Social Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between NOVATEK and the Yamalsky District Administration.
