OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2009. Russian nuclear power companies have taken part in 7th international forum “Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: Present and Future” held in Kyiv, Ukraine, Sept 25–26 2009. The forum is held annually and is one of the key events in the energy sector of Ukraine. The organizer of the forum is the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.

The program of the forum included international specialized exhibition “Power in Industry of Ukraine 2009,” technical conferences, seminars, roundtables. The main topic was modernization of the fuel and energy complex as a pledge of economic growth.

The Russian exposition was represented by Atomenergoprom OJSC, TVEL OJSC, Gidropress Experimental Design Bureau OJSC, Elektrogorsk Research and Engineering Center on Nuclear Power Plants Safety, Elektrokhimpribor. The organizer of the exposition was Atomexpo.

Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Yuri Prodan, Minister of Communal Economy of Ukraine Aleskey Kucherenko, member of the Supreme Rada’s Fuel and Energy Complex Committee, First Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Oleg Bugayev, Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Natalia Shumkova, President of NNEGC Energoatom Yuri Nedashkovsky visited the Russian exposition.
