OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2009. In August Komsomolets Donbassa Mine produced 345.7 thou. tons of coal, reports the Coal Industry Department of Donetsk Regional State Administration. This is 7.3% or 23.4 thou. tons more than in August of the previous year.

The August plan is met by 105.8% (i.e. 19.1 thou. tons of coal have been produced in excess of the plan). Over 8 months of this year the company has increased its coal production by 7.5% (167.4 thou. tons of coal), compared to the same period of the previous year – to 2.39 million tons. The plan for 8 months has been fulfilled by 106%, (i.e. 135.6 thou. tons of coal have been mined on top of the plan).
