OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2009. Sibirtelecom won the tender for providing data transmission channels and telematic services to the Administration of Judicial Department in the Altai Krai.

A joint project in the construction of a common protected corporate network for the biggest VIP-customer of the Company, the Administration of Judicial Department in the Altai Krai was started in December 2008 during the development of long-term partnership relations. At that time 25 subdivisions of the Company were included in the common network. In January 2009 Sibirtelecom provided telephone connection in the new building of the Administration of Judicial Department in the Alta Krai, Barnaul. Taking into account the established partnership relations, the Company bears all expenses for laying the fiber-optic cable, as well as for the purchase and installation of the terminal equipment of the line channel. The laid fiber-optic cable made it possible to improve the quality, to expand the range of services, and to connect the production automatic telephone exchange of the Administration to the network of local exchange.

“Sibirtelecom was chosen as a strategic partner due to a branched multiservice network of the Company and a possibility to quickly solve technological tasks, - said Yury Terentyev, Director of Altai branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC, - This project made it possible to provide corporate telephony, electronic document circulation and video conferencing  connection to the Administration of Judicial Department, as well as to organize environment for the fast interchange of internal information between the courts.”

The Department was also given a round-the-clock Internet access with a high transmission speed. Over 72 distant subdivisions all over the Altai Krai were united into the common protected corporate network; the data base was established.
