OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2009. Vitaly Pozdnyakov has been appointed UTair Aviation Deputy CEO for Strategic Development.

Vitaly Anatolievich Pozdnyakov was born in 1974. He is a graduate of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, the department of Economics. He started working for the electric power industry in 1998 and became a UTair employee in 2000. In 2002 he was appointed the Company’s Chief Accountant. In 2008-2009 he studied in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston, USA) and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree there.

Vitaly Pozdnyakov will be responsible for strategic planning, development and implementation of innovation projects as well as for the estimation of new business and markets efficiency. He will also be in charge of IT department.

Former Deputy CEO for Strategic Development Andrey Pototzky resigned due to the change of employment.
