OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2009. Ukraine International Airlines was one of the first in Ukraine to offer its clients a brand new service – online Cash Payment technology – which allows customers to pay for tickets through bank transfer when booking flights on the UIA website.

From now on, when booking flights onwww.flyUIA.com,passengers can pay for tickets not only with a credit card, but also through bank transfer at any bank that operates in Ukraine.

The new payment option can be used by both corporate clients and by individuals who are cannot or do not want to pay for tickets with a credit card.

‘UIA has once again proofed its leading position on the air transportation services market with regard to implementing new payment possibilities,’ said Sergey Fomenko, UIA Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ‘The introduction of the new Cash Payment option on the UIA website is another step forward for us in meeting our passengers’ requirements’.

Please take the following steps to use the Cash Payment service:

Once you have chosen the destination on ww.flyUIA.com, please choose Bank transfer option (“Оплата через банк”) from Payment option box (“Спосіб оплати”) on the Payment details page (“Дані платника”). A pop-up window will appear containing information about the amount to be paid and payment deadline.

Then, you will see Booking confirmation (“Підтвердження бронювання”) on your display, as well as a detailed instruction on how to make the bank transfer.

Within 10 minutes you will receive a message to the email address provided containing an attached invoice that should be paid within two banking days.

Upon receipt of payment in the account of UIA, an e-ticket will be issued automatically and you will receive an e-ticket confirmation (“Підтвердження”)with your ticket number to the email address you specified when reserving your ticket.

Your e-ticket Confirmation (“Підтвердження”) will come along with Receipt (“Товарна накладна”) in Ukrainian or Russian only will be sent to your email address.The new Cash Payment option will be available for all flights listed on the UIA website as long as payment is made at least five days prior to departure.
