OREANDA-NEWS. September 25, 2009. At a Moscow management school – Skolkovo, took place an event celebrating its 3rd birthday. Present, was the Chairman of the Board of Directors – president of Russia- Dmitriy Medvedev, who congratulated the students of the first intake for SKOLKOVO MBA and awarded their student cards, reported the press-centre of FCHRB.
 
Dmitriy Medvedev also met with members of the International Board of Directors and Coordination Body of Skolkovo. Mr. Popov who is the Chairman of the Supervisory Body was also present at the meeting. First Czech-Russian Bank has been a member of the Coordination Body of the school since it was founded in 2006.
 
The guests included heads of multinational corporations, leaders in the field of science, education and social services as well as government representatives.
 
The president – Dmitriy Medvedev- noted in his speech: “I am particularly happy that our private business proved that it is capable of launching not just large-scale business projects with the intention of earning profit but also significant education projects. Moreover, the launch has been made from scratch at a top international level.”
 
Moscow management school Skolkovo is a joint project of Russian and international business elite, which was created from scratch. The school founders – 18 of some of the biggest companies and private investors, from Russia and abroad, who are leaders in their respective industries: oil and gas, metallurgy, energy, investment, banking, insurance and retail. Partnership is not just limited by financial contributions.
