OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2009. "BazelCement-Pikalyovo" CJSC, "Pikalyovsky Cement" CJSC, ЗАО "Metakhim" CJSC and "Apatit" OJSC signed the contracts for supplying nepheline (belite) slurry, carbonate mud and nepheline concentrate at fair prices calculated by FAS Russia, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

FAS Russia determined the level of prices for raw materials on the basis of its pricing analysis, carried out to execute the decision of the Interbranch Headquarters for improving the situation at the production complex in Pikalyovo. The prices were determined with due account of the need to ensure positive cost-effectiveness of all companies of the production complex and необходимости maximum utilization of the production complex, enabling full employment and relieving social tension in Pikalyovo.

Slurry price is set at 520 Rubles per ton; the price for nepheline concentrate is 850 Rubles per ton, and for carbonate mud - 1050 Rubles per cubic meter.

The contracts are signed until 31st October 2009 and can be prolonged. It is expected that within this period its will be possible to determine the final scheme of further work.

"FAS Russia continue monitoring the situation in Pikalyovo and will suppress all attempts to delay improving the situation", said Alexey Ulyanov, the Head of the Department for Industry Control.
