OREANDA-NEWS. September 24, 2009. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded a contract for insurance coverage of civil liability of the St. Petersburg Socio-Economic Institute to the women participants of the marathon, held under the auspices of the sporting and entertainment event "Woman TOP 10". The insurance amount was 1 million roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.    

Under the concluded contract, the Insurance Company ROSNO would have to reimburse the damage inflicted to life, health and/or property of the participants of the field-and-track mass run in case of an insured accident. The contract was effective for the duration of the run.

The Woman TOP 10 run for the distance of 10 km was held under the auspices of the Government of St. Petersburg, Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, Committee for Labour and Social Security, all district administrations of the city, and certain businesspeople. As noted by the run organizers, the format of this run does not contemplate competition or rivalry, and the winners were all those who managed to cover the distance.

It is for the third consecutive year that ROSNO is successfully cooperating with the St. Petersburg Socio-Economic Institute, major organizer and ideologist of the city festival "Women’s 10".
