OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. Since the beginning of the year, the Saratov branch of Freight One has seen average monthly growth of 30% in haulage operations in covered trucks. Over the three summer months, the total volume of freight exceeded 244,000 tonnes. 60,000 tonnes of cargo were carried in June, around 80,000 tonnes in July and 105,000 tonnes in August. Freight One’s Saratov branch accounted for 40% of the company’s total volume of exports in covered trucks and 50% of internal Russian haulage.

The positive dynamics were due to the continuous expansion of the branch’s contract and cargo base and its systematic work with clients. “We do not intend to rest on our laurels and plan shortly to take control of the haulage market for industrial cargo and consumer goods in the CIS,” announced Viktor Shishkin, acting director of the Saratov branch of JSC Freight One.
