OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2009. The specialists of the Murmansk branch of ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate have concluded a life and health insurance contract covering 1504 members of the vessel crews employed by FGUP Atomflot. The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 391,350,000 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The crews of 9 atomic icebreakers and 5 ATO vessels, as well as the crews of a floating dock and an atomic LASH carrier have been insured against accidents, covering the following risks: "Permanent and complete loss of general working ability due to accident, with ascertainment of 1st, 2nd, or 3rd disability groups" and "Death due to accident".

The contract will be valid for 1 year.
