OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2009. The administration of the resort city of Sochi at the investment forum here has signed 19 agreements, the total sum of which exceeds 30 billion roubles, Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov told reporters on Saturday.

On the Sochi display occupying 300 square metres out of the total area of 2,000 square metres are 17 models of construction, transport and tourism infrastructure development. Among them are eight Olympic projects. There are also over 90 investment proposals amounting to a total of 100 billion roubles.

All the projects have aroused great interest among investors and contractors. It is indicative of Sochi's attraction as a resort site and an Olympic capital, as the city is being prepared for a great sport event, the mayor noted.
