OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. Chairman of Gazprom Management Board Alexey Miller held a video telephone conference timed to coincide with the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day. The festive conference was conducted with the participation of Gazprom’s subsidiaries’ top management.

When opening the conference, Alexey Miller reported on the Gazprom Group’s key events and achievements and congratulated the participants on the professional holiday. In his speech, Chairman of Gazprom Neft Board of Directors emphasized: “We are holding one of the leading positions in the Russian oil industry. Despite of crisis developments in the world economics, the strategy accepted last year in our subsidiary Gazprom Neft will remain steady. By 2020, annual oil production is expected to boost up to 100 mln. tons, the refining output is to grow up to 70-80 mln. tons, the marketing network is planned to be substantially extended. We project to expand our presence in the oil sectors outside of Russia in the regions of our strategic interest including Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In the context of the Company’s long-term strategy, such major projects as acquisition of NIS and Sibir Energy were successfully realized”.

Alexander Dyukov took part in the video telephone conference from the Omsk Refinery in the course of his tour through the Western Siberia. Talking of the Company’s key records in the sphere of production and refining, Chairman of Gazprom Neft Management Board remarked: “Due to organic growth and oil assets acquisitions, this is the first year that the Company will be able to break through such key milestones as production of 50 mln. tons of oil equivalent and refining output exceeding 35 mln. tons”.

Alexander Dyukov turned special attention to a benchmark setting program for Gazprom Neft filling stations network rebranding launched in Omsk today. Due to the program implementation, over 1000 gas filling stations will be reconstructed and acquire a new corporate look.

Alexander Dyukov wound up his speech by congratulating the participants of the festive video telephone conference and all and any employees of the Gazprom Group on the professional holiday with wishes of success, implementation of shaped plans and prosperity.
