EuroChem Will Built Ice Stadium in Novomoskovsk

There were good reasons for the signing date to coincide with Novomoskovsk’s main holiday, City Day, as this project is a gift to Novomoskovsk’s residents from EuroChem and the regional and municipal authorities. The RUR 180 million investment in constructing the 1,000-seat Novomoskovsk Ice Stadium is a spectacular example of the public-private partnership concept coming to fruition: the project is a joint effort of the Ministry for Sports, Tourism and Youth Policies, the United Russia party, the Administrations of the Tula Region and Novomoskovsk, and EuroChem.
Metal structures and equipment will be procured, delivered and installed through funding from the federal budget, while construction work will be financed by Eurochem. All parties to the agreement currently have an equal interest in implementing the public-private partnership mechanism.
Construction and operation of the ice complex enable a long-term relationship between government authorities and the business community for developing athletics, promoting healthy lifestyles, raising public living standards and fulfilling EuroChem’s social responsibility in Novomoskovsk.
