OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. Interpipe announces the opening of a Common Medical Centre in Dnepropetrovsk. The new Medical Centre will provide a systematic approach to providing medical assistance to all the employees of the Company in Dnepropetrovsk, Novomoskovsk and Nikopol. As part of the structure of the Common Medical Centre there will be 9 aid posts and more than 150 medical workers.

The foundation of the Interpipe Common Medical Centre will help to centralize the management process of providing medical aid in the Company raising the qualifications of the personnel and introducing a common system of obligatory kinds of maintenance inspection. The Medical Centre will also provide emergency medical assistance at the aid posts of the Company and will offer further medical services. In addition, an effective system of cooperation is to be established with the general health institutions of the Dnepropetrovsk region around issues of hospitalization, surgical treatment and providing employees of the Company with regular blood checks.

In case of illness or industrial injury of Company employees, Interpipe Common Medical Centre will provide a set of medical services led by specialist doctors including diagnostic examination including X-ray, ultrasound and functional diagnostics, laboratory diagnostics and physical therapy.
