OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. The President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stopped privatization of Odessa Port Plant OJSC by the Decree No747/2009 published at the President’s website. 

Ukraine has been trying to privatize OPP from 1994. Last time the fund of the State Property announced the competition of the Plant’s sale on July 15, 2009. It was scheduled for September 29 with a starting price for 99.567% of shares set at UAH 4 bln (USD 524.5 mln).
