OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. For Jan-Aug 2009 country’s national energy operator Azerenerji OJSC transferred a sum equivalent to 77.3% of payments to Azerbaijani State Budget 2008.

Azerenerji reports that this August it was transferred AZN 11 million (+20% against August 2008 (AZN 9.5 million). Simultaneously payments for the last month totaled only 90.2% of last December’s index (AZN 12.2 million) and 118.3% for January 2009 (AZN 9.3 million), 97,3% of payments for February (AZN 11.3 million), 82,7% of payments for March (AZN 13.3 million). 89.4% of payments for April (AZN 12.3 million), 100% of payments for May, June and July (by AZN 11 million). Payments for Jan-Aug 2009 made AZN 90.5 million that is by 23% is higher that payments for comparable period of 2008.

Azerenerji’s payment transfers for 2008 made up AZN 117.1 million that is by 1.5 times more than transfers for 2007 (AZN 77 million). Record of payments for month was fixed in April 2008 (AZN 12.3 million).

As of 1st September 2009 exchange rate was AZN 0.8039 to the US dollar.
