OREANDA-NEWS. September 18, 2009. S7, the largest domestic airline in Russia in 2008 by the number of carried passengers and Royal Jordanian Airlines based in Jordan signed the code sharing agreement offering new opportunities to S7 clients. The agreement provides the shared operation of flights to the capital of Jordan, Amman, reported the press-centre of S7.

The shared regular flights of S7 and Royal Jordanian will be operated since September 15, 2009* three times a week: on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Departure time from Moscow (Domodedovo airport) is 16.35, departure time from Amman is 10.45, local time. The operated aircraft will be Airbus A320.

“This agreement offers to S7 clients a new direction for traveling. Royal Jordanian Airlines Company is our partner in oneworld, international airlines alliance. In May 2009 S7 was elected as a candidate for the alliance member and is now proactively integrating its itineraries and technological processes with other oneworld members. Partnership agreements provide to airlines an opportunity to expand their flight geography at the international market of air transportation”, - said Vadim Besperstov, Business Director of S7.

Minimum cost of S7 return ticket Moscow-Amman will be 389 Euros, excluding charges. The fuel charge is not levied as well as at all the international flights of S7. S7 also developed special transfer fares for passengers flying from Russian regions to Amman, with a convenient transfer in Moscow. For example, cost of return ticket from Kazan, Ufa and Volgograd to Amman will be 370 Euros, excluding charges. The return ticket from Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Vladikavkaz will cost 440 Euros, excluding charges.

Members of S7 Priority frequent flyer program earn miles on S7 flights Moscow-Amman in accordance with the program conditions**. The members earn from 411 to 3,288 miles according to the selected fare for a one-way ticket.
