ITB Approved First Applications for Support of SME
OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2009. Funds of the first tranche in amount of 284 million rubles hit the account of Investtradebank in the framework of the Governmental Programme for support of small and medium-sized business (SMB), based on which the Bank extends loans to small and medium-sized businesses, including at expense of targeted resources of the OJSC “Russian Bank of Development”. The Credit Committee of the Bank at its regular meeting approved the first two credit applications, totaling 13,5 million rubles, reported the press-centre of ITB.
One of the loans was extended to the enterprise IP Koshevoy Oleg Alexeyevich from Volgograd. IP Koshevoy Oleg Alexeyevich has been running its business since 1998. In Volgograd the company runs the largest and the most popular retail network of toy and souvenir shops, selling products made under the trademarks “OSTROV SOKROVISH” (Treasure Island) and “LOS PIRATOS” and is actively engaged in wholesale trade with toys and food products (11 retail sales points and a 1 147 sq. meter warehouse, specialized in wholesale commerce). It cooperates with the largest shops and hypermarkets of the city. Thus, up to date it has implemented a grand project with Cash&Carry “Island of Presents PIRATOS” – a large-scale complex, including selling space, warehouse and office premises with the floor area totaling over 2770 sq. m. with arranged parking places and comfortable access ways. Strategic plans of the company envisage extension of its sales network, improved quality and assortment of offered products, that will considerably raise a competitive power of the company.
Lending to corporate clients is one of the priority fields of activity in Investtradebank.
