Bank of Azerbaijan Sums up Contest for Best Corporate Slogan
OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2009. The Bank of Azerbaijan (BA) together with www.mak.az website summarized the open contest for the best corporate slogan of BA.
BA reported that over 1000 slogans were sent to the bank to participate in the contest
Mak.az internet resource uniting the Azerbaijani marketing community opened special topic dedicated to this contest for organizing an effective contest. In the course of this contest, over 100 participants have sent more than 1,000 slogans.
All of the proposed slogans have been analyzed by the bank management. According to the decision of the BA Board, for the time being, none of these slogans coincide fully with the tasks and goals of BA.
In spite that the slogan has not been chosen yet for the bank, the bank management considering a keen interest to the contest has decided to award valuable prizes to the best active participants.
“We do express our appreciation to all young marketing specialists who sent their slogans. Despite that the slogan has not been chosen for the bank, we decided to award the best participants. Thus, the slogan sent by Farhad Gafarzade became the best among all others in our opinion. This participant will be sent to Kiev to take part in the master classes - Management and Marketing in the period of Changes. We are thankful to all those who have actively participated in this contest and sent us their proposals,” – noted Mr.Khayal Sharifzade, CEO of BA.
In addition, according to Sharifzade, the best other participants were Orkhan Yusifov and Mustafa Mamedov. They will get Gold Cards of BA with some amount of funds loaded on their account.
The contest has been appraised highly also by Mammad Karimov, director of MakAcademy and website. “The contest organized by BA is the first competition in its own way. It has been organized very properly. It is noteworthy that employees of other banks participated actively in the contest. I think that such contests are very important to stimulate Azerbaijani young marketing specialists,” he said.
Let’s remind that early August of the current year, BA supporting various professional communities within the frames of corporate social responsibility policy, offered a unique possibility for young marketers for the first time in Azerbaijan. Thus, four young and promising marketing specialists of our country have got an opportunity with the support of BA to take part in master classes, on the subject Management and Marketing in the period of Changes, being led by Philip Kottler in Ukrainian capital, Kiev, on September 16.
Winner of the contest, along with three members of the community of marketing managers, got possibility to take part in master classes, being led by Philip Kottler.
