OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2009. KAMAZ shipped the first 4 of 9 power stations on the basis of an electric aggregate AD100S-T400-1RPM8HL projected and produced according to the requirements specification of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The power stations are meant for providing power for customers who from time to time relocate their job place, and for such occasions when there is a temporary need in electric power. Besides, they may be used as an emergency power station for stationary objects. The power stations are modular build, transported with the help of all kinds of transport including air service transport and an external load.

Production of such kinds of diversification products started at KAMAZ in June 2006. The first electric aggregates had 100 kilowatt of power and were produced at KAMAZinstrumentspetsmash. KAMAZ R&D Center, KAMAZ-Diesel and Trade and Finance Company were also engaged in their development, production and promotion on the market.

In February 2007 4 electric aggregates were delivered to OAO Kubanenergo (Krasnodar Region). One of them was mounted on a lift in Krasnaya Polyana (Sochi) as an emergency power station, and the rest three onesare used as mobile, emergency power supplies. The power station on the basis of a KAMAZ aggregate provided a presentation tent with energy during the work of the commission of the International Olympic Committee in 2007. Similar power-suppliers are supposed to be used during the winter Olympic Games of 2014.

In 2008 electric aggregates of KAMAZ were demonstrated at the exhibition of armament and military equipment in Nizhny Tagil. It proves a great potential of their operation in army units and security, defence and law enforcement agencies.

Currently KAMAZ Inc. has got an opportunity to deliver diesel stationary electric aggregates of the first and second automation level with power of 100, 150 and 200 kilowatt of various pakcagings: open on a frame, on a frame under a bonnet, in a container, etc. Analogous mobile stations can be mounted on a trailer or on KAMAZ vehicle chassis. Also KAMAZ has the stock of stationary electric aggregates working on gas fuel with power of 100 kilowatt.
