OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2009. Specialized exhibition of projects for individual housing construction in rural areas and building materials organized at the initiative of President Islam Karimov continues in Tashkent.

According to the information center of the exhibition, more than 10 thousand visitors have already seen the projects represented here. Among them – architects, designers, builders, manufacturers of building materials and equipment, electrical and household appliances, representatives of wholesale and retail companies, farmers, businesspeople, students and activists makhallyas.

Representatives of Navoi and Namangan regions, students and pupils of a number of universities and professional colleges came to see in the third day of the exhibition.

“In light of the actual implementation of the of the decree by the Head of State “On additional measures to expand housing in the countryside, from Aug. 3, 2009, new areas in Kasansay, Uychi, Uchkurgon to be built according to the model projects,” said the acting Chief Architect of Namangan region Negmatjan Jurabaev.

“225 three-, four-, five-and six room houses will be built in mahalla “Metallurg” in the citizens’ gathering village Kukumboy of Kasansay district, constructions in mahalla Husar will include, a school for 350 places, a kindergarten, rural medical stations, market, sauna, mini -market, shop for the production of confectionery products.”

Particular attention is paid to engineering and communication systems of the new living areas. To this end, construction of facilities for collecting and cleaning water, the laying of 4.8 kilometers of water pipes, electricity cables of 5,4 km, 4,6 km pipelines are planned. Area of 9.2 hectares to be landscaped.

The houses will be built from baked bricks. At the present time, there are more than 600 companies annually produce 2.1 billion bricks in our country. In the current year it is planned to commission 39 new plants capable of producing 282,4 million bricks per year.

As a result, the modernization of enterprises for the production of bricks, based on the decree by head of state “On additional measures to stimulate increased production and improved quality of wall materials” of 19 June this year, is reducing production costs and lowering product prices.
