OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2009. KICB’s in-house Training Centre held its second graduation ceremony, reported the press-centre of KICB.

A total of 26 interns successfully completed the Bank’s training courses: 10 of them became deposit officers, 13 became credit officers, 1 joined the banking card department and another became an IT officer. These bright young specialists are displaying high confidence in their new roles at KICB.

One of the main elements of the Bank’s success is the recruitment of highly qualified and well trained professionals. For this reason, KICB continues to invest in young and motivated university graduates who are capable of working hard and realizing their potential in a dynamic Kyrgyz banking sector.

This was the perspective with which KICB launched its in-house Training Centre on June 9, 2008. Its program for newly hired professionals is offered once each year, and trains recent university graduates from all regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Lecturers consist of KICB’s top management, high-level employees, and external trainers from different parts of the country’s financial sector. Upon graduation, these exceptional candidates are offered career developing roles at KICB.

The complimentary five-week course offers aspiring interns in-depth specialized training on the Bank’s products, procedures, policies, business processes, and even extends further into legal documents. Post-course evaluation of the trainees consists of a second screening, which includes further tests and interviews. On the basis of this strict selection process, graduation is then conferred and the best interns become well-deserving full fledged employees of KICB.
