OREANDA-NEWS. September 14, 2009. The National Bureau of Statistics informs, in January-July 2009 the volume of Moldovan export to the EU made US376,5 mln., 19,2% less than in January-July 2008. Still, in the corresponding period Moldova imported from the EU goods for US 758,9 mln., 38,6% less than in January-July 2008.

The major export partners of Moldova in the EU in this period were: Romania 20,3% (US 140,3 mln.) -26,4%, Italy – 11,5% (US 79,4 mln.; -22,3%), Germany – 6% (US 44,1 mln.; -6,1%), Great Britain – 4,4% (US 30,4 mln.; +28,1%), Poland – 2,9% (US 19,7 mln.; -34,6%), Switzerland – 2,2% (US 15,6 mln.; +48%), France – 1,8% (US 12,4 mln.; -16,2%), Bulgaria – 1,2% (US 8,6 mln.; -42,5%), Greece – 1,2% (US 8,3 mln.; +92,5%), Hungary – 1,1% (US 7,2 mln.; 2,2 times).
