Eurasian Bank Implements SME Crediting Project
OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2009. Eurasian Bank (Almaty), a company listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Eurasian Bank is implementing a crediting project for small and middle businesses operating in regions. The project is being jointly implemented with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), Kazakhstan Finance and Agriculture Ministries.
The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry issued KZT91.093 m, IBRD - USD603 th. Eurasian Bank is contributing 25% of the total financing.
Credits shall be granted to businesses, registered outside Almaty and Astana, ready co-finance the project at least 10% from own funds.
Credits shall not be granted for purchase or rent of land, residential construction or households, loan refinancing, production, processing and trade in tobacco, spirits and purchase of pesticides.
The first loaner is an agricultural company based in Kostanay oblast.
Eurasian Bank is specializing in servicing small and middle businesses. The Bank is considering socially and economically significant projects, including in agriculture.
