OREANDA-NEWS. September 11, 2009. According to the data by acting minister of Finance Mariana Durlesteanu, the state budget is performed with the deficit of 1840,9 mln. leis, administrative-territorial units – with 2,7 mln. Leis deficit, state security deficit being - 542,9 mln. leis, the funds of obligatory medical insurance - 174,9 mln. leis.

As compared to the deficit on July 31, 2009, in August the national public budget grew by 43,8 mln. leis, state budget deficit – by 13,8 mln. leis, state social security deficit – by 64,6 mln. leis. Still there is decrease in the deficit in the budgets of the funds of obligatory medical insurance and administrative territorial units – by 8,6 mln. leis and 26 mln. leis accordingly.

On August 31, 2009 the national state budget accumulated incomes of 14,7 bln. Leis, 2,2 bln. leis less than stipulated in the budget for the corresponding period (87%), as compared to 2008 г. – 1,2 bln. leis (7,3%) less. Still, from January 1 to August 31, 2009 at the expense of the national public budget there were expenses for the sum of 17,3 bln. leis, 4,1 bln. leis less than stipulated for the period (80,8%), as compared to 2008 - 1,2 bln. leis (7,4%) more.
