OREANDA-NEWS. On 10 September 2009 was announced, that the Yekaterinburg branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC won tender to insure the civil liability of the Koltsovo airport. The contract covers liability of the airport owners, air traffic control bodies, and airport services for causing damage to life, health or property of third parties during operation the Koltsovo airport. The insurance sum totaled RUB 1.565 billion.

Koltsovo international airport is one of the leading airports in Russia. The large-scale reconstruction project conducted by the strategic investor Renova Group will turn Koltsovo into a strong and exceptionally convenient regional transportation and logistics hub for the main passenger and cargo flows of Russia. Today about 40 Russian and international airlines fly to Koltsovo connecting Yekaterinburg with over 100 cities of the world and through comfortable international hub airports – practically with the whole planet. Based on the performance of 2008 Koltsovo was named “the most actively developing airport in CIS”.
