OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2009. In Azerbaijan new process  to receive  reports on  insured persons was started  in the individual accountability  system of the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund (SSPF).

Elman Mekhtiyev, Deputy  Chairman of SSPF informs that  content of the new system is to establish  individual accountability of insurance payments, paid on the insured persons in order to organize  retirement insurance of citizens on the basis of information of the accountability.

“For this purpose important measures were realized in order to develop and introduce individual accountability in the state social insurance system, normative legal base and necessary infrastructure was created. In accordance with information on September 1, 2009,  an individual accountability was opened for 1,586,738 payers of dues  of obligatory state social insurance,” E.Mekhtiyev said.

In prospect, the fund  plans to receive annual reports on insured persons as well as point out  proper information on the individual accounts of insured persons.

“To that end, preliminary work was conducted. Originally, work was completed on employees of large 660 enterprises of the country. The aim  of application of the new system is to attract  employers and workers to take an active part  in this process. This system will assist  us to control transfers of  dues on social insurance in time and in full that will provide the reliable retirement insurance in the future,” he said.
