OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2009. The Gov’t has approved a package of normative-legal acts in order to regulate entrepreneur’s activity including three issues of social protection of entrepreneurs. The head of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Regulatory Policy Olexandra Kuzhel announced during a briefing on the outcomes of the session of Government.

In particular, Olexandra Kuzhel informed that in the context of social policy the Government had backed decisions on protection of businesswomen in a period of maternity leave. “We remain the right for them to be entrepreneurs and receive aid in childcare during three years,” she explained. Moreover, the Government supported simplification of a procedure of registration of people hired by physical person – entrepreneur. According to the head of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Regulatory Policy, a new mechanism of relations between entrepreneur and invalid was also approved that is called “to protect entrepreneurs and not to humiliate invalids at this”.

“The fund of invalids has to create a register of people who want and have a desire to work, that is submitted to the Employment Fund and entrepreneur has only to register and submit an application to the Employment Fund with a request to provide him with employees pursuant to the legislation,” Olexandra Kuzhel clarified the situation and added the document also envisages determination of norms of quantity of working invalids on enterprises by municipal and village councils in synergy with fund of invalids.

The head of Entrepreneur’s Council within the Cabinet of Ministers Oxana Prodan thanked to the Government for the approved decisions, notably the ones regarding social protection of entrepreneurs. “These are issues raised year after year and as they are socially strained they used to be postponed. It is great they were submitted for Government’s consideration and the Government has endorsed them”.
