OREANDA-NEWS. September 09, 2009. Concerning the information disseminated by some media that the Bank of Moscow has allegedly failed to fulfill obligations to pay off bank guarantees to OGK-2, the Bank of Moscow clarifies the situation by issuing the following official statement.

According to the Moscow Arbitrary Court decision the Bank of Moscow is forbidden to make any transactions on the guarantees mentioned above.

Also, the Moscow Arbitrary Court decisions invalidating the guarantees issued by the Bank of Moscow have come into force as a result of claims registered by E4.

Therefore the Bank of Moscow supposes that OGK-2 is attempting to mislead the public.
