OREANDA-NEWS. On 8 September 2009 was announced, that Luganskteplovoz had received an order to produce 10 sections of diesel locomotives of 2ТE-116U type from Russian Railways. It is the first order for the Company for producing diesel locomotives since the beginning 2009.

This news is POSITIVE. The contract allows to prevent lay-off of personnel and to support manufacture at the minimal level.
