OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2009. The Republican Conference of Education Employees Results of 2008-2009 School Year and Forthcoming Duties for 2009-2010 School Year took place in Baku.

Minister of education Misir Mardanov said that in 2008, allocated funds in the state budget for education increased by AZN 238 million (21%) as compared to 2007.

“Volume of investments in this sphere grew by AZN 113.4 million versus 2007 and achieved AZN 220 million in 2008. In 2009, investment expenses made AZN 57 million,” minister said.

Dynamics of development of charges for every pupil in pre-school establishments increased from AZN 703 in 2008, to AZN 884 in 2009, in general education schools – from AZN 420 to AZN 577, in technical vocational schools – from AZN 943 to AZN 1,108, in average special education establishments – from AZN 566 to AZN 741, in institutes of higher education – from AZN 813 to AZN 1,176.
