OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2009. Russian Minister for Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko signed a decree that gives the top priority investment project status to Sodruzhestvo mill producing laminated veneer lumber houses which belongs to Altailes holding, as the company’s representative Evgeniya Isaeva informed Lesprom Network.

Total volume of investments into construction exceeded 320 million roubles (US10.1 million), 180 million (\\$5.7 million) out of this sum are company’s own funds.

The top priority status gives the enterprise a preference to obtain government orders, decreased rent fees for forest use, tax breaks, and additional forest loans without performing auctions.

The plant was put into production in March 2009. From April to August, 28 low-storey house kits were produced via private contracts. Rated capacity of the plant is 22,000 cubic meters annually. Sodruzhestvo plant uses automatic Logmatic (Makron Engineering, Finland) and К2i (Hundeger, Germany) processing systems.

The plant delivers its products to Altai, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Moscow regions, to the 2014 Winter Olympics town of Sochi, and Kazakhstan (Astana, Almaty).

Altailes forest holding includes 26 enterprises of Altai region. Annual forest consumption of the company is more than 1.5 million cubic meters.
