OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2009. International rating agency  Planet Rating appropriated to Azerdemiryolbank rating "B+" with prognosis "positive".

Azerdemiryolbank reports that rating "B+" is bing  examined by commercial organizations as investment that testifies on achievements of  Azerdemiryolbank.

“Azerdemiryolbank on categories corporate management, risk management, efficiency and profitability, business and information was appraised on level "В" and on category financing and liquidity, for the first time in Azerbaijan, was evaluated  onlevel "А",” it was informed.

International agency  Planet Rating with the  head office in France carries out activity in over 60 countries of the world and specialized in the appraising the banks and credit organizations in the sphere of  the microfinance sphere.

Azerdemiryolbank is the first bank of Azerbaijan, whjich received the  rating from agency Planet Rating.

‘The Azerdemiryolbank in accordanc with   its socially-directed policy carries out the various  programs on microloaning that promotes development of small business in the country, increase of employment and welfare of the population as well. The high rating of the Azerdemiryolbank from agency Planet Rating will enable us to develop relations with international financial organizations and extend activity on microloaning,” Yusif Jabarov, CEO of the bank reported.

Azerdemiryolbank also has the rating of agency Fitch Ratings. Having launched cooperation with the Fitch Ratings Beginning in 2004, the Azerdemiryolbank became the first private bank of the country, which received the international rating.

One of the first banks of the country the Azerdemiryolbank is established  in 1989. The large international financial organizations as the European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO) are among the shareholders of the bank.
