OREANDA-NEWS. September 04, 2009. ROSNO has concluded four large private apartment insurance contracts for 6,449,322.82 US dollars in total. All of the insured objects are located in Moscow and the Moscow Region, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The apartments have been insured under the comprehensive insurance program Megapolis covering housing, animals and civil liability.

The furnishing, plumbing systems, structural elements and movable property kept in the apartment located at Kahovka Street in Moscow, as well as the owner’s civil liability for the damage inflicted to third parties during operation of the apartment, have been insured for the aggregate amount of 1,028,322.82 US dollars. The property insurance coverage is a full package including additional risks associated with the need to rent another apartment in case of an insured accident, and costs of early return (if the owner is outside the country at the time of an insured accident).

The apartment located at Petrozavodskaya Street in Moscow has been insured against the extended range of risks, including such risks as "terrorism" and "negligent third-party actions in course of performance of construction or maintenance works". The furnishing, plumbing systems, structural elements and movable property kept in the apartment, as well as the owner’s civil liability, have been insured for the aggregate amount of 1,218,000 US dollars.

The structural elements of the apartment located at Petroverigskaya Street in Moscow, as well as the owner’s civil liability for performance of construction and repairs, have been insured against the full set of risks for the aggregate amount of 2,888,000 US dollars.

The furnishing, plumbing systems and structural elements of the townhouse located at Academician Lavrentyev Street in the town of Dolgoprudny have been insured against the basic set of risks (fire, lightning stroke, explosion) for the aggregate amount of 1,315,000 US dollars.

Overall, ROSNO has insured over 12,000 apartments under this program.
