OREANDA-NEWS. September 2, 2009. State-run Vnesheconombank has approved a RUB 29.18 bn subordinated loan for Alfa Bank, the latter reported. The loan facility is to be issued by year-end 2020 at 9.5%. Russian authorities have decided to lend support to banks, which faced an acute capital shortage during the crisis due to rising bad debts and the need to allocate profit to provisioning, which calls for a program in the form of subordinated loans.
