OREANDA-NEWS. September 2, 2009. In 2009 at our works according to the assignment of managing director Aleksandr Yuliusovich Putnoki a question of further development of the subdivisions of works in the area of introducing the newest technologies is examined. Taking into account ever increasing interest of young specialists both from design and technological subdivisions to the automated projects development systems (APDS), the decision about the creation of the new APDS section was made. It will function within the framework of annual youth scientific technical conference.

The purpose of new section will be not only to determine the conquerors, but also to develop and solve general problems, to exchange experience between the specialists of different subdivisions, as well as organization of mutual work, more effective use of technologies and software. So it will be trully scientific work.

There are all reasons to hope that the section will be especially popular among the young employees of the works.

The selection of the most interesting works has been already started. This will also include the selection of 3-D of models and calculation tasks both for the conference of the works and for the reports at the international scientific conference at the National mining university and at the NKMZ conference.

Without limitation to the framework of the works, it is planned to invite specialists from other companies for the collaboration in our youth scientific technical conference.

From the beginning of 2002, our specialists numerously were awarded as the laureates of the international competition SolidWorks AWARD in Moscow; also participated in the scientific conferences, first in the role of students, and then in the role of speakers. Their reports were repeatedly noted by diplomas. The last of them was entrusted to the workers of Zaporizhstal by the representatives of the SolidWorks Corporation's (USA) board of directors in 2008 at the international scientific conference at the National mining university in Dnepropetrovsk for the successes in the development of information technologies in the APDS area and for the represented complex of projects.

Accumulated experience of collaboration in such events shows that the main advantage of competitions and conferences is interactive communication of the specialists from different enterprises, priceless experience exchange. This communication was the source for the information technologies development in general and the acceleration of APDS introduction in enterprises in particular.

The main requirement for collaboration in the competition is the obligatory fulfillment of projects and calculations in the APDS programs, licensed for usage at the works.

We await interesting solutions, projects and anything else that it is possible to make by means of different APDS applications.
