Net Direct Foreign Investments to Moldova Totaled USD 48,6 mln in 1Q
OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2009. According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Moldova, the reduction of the indicator is due to the global financial crisis and resulted mostly from the decrease in the inflow of investments in enterprises’ authorized capital by US41 million and the growth of the capital outflow from the nonbank sector of economy by US 19 million.
Direct foreign investments in the country’s economy as of the end of the first quarter of 2009 totaled US 2.6 billion, up 28.7 per cent in comparison with the same period last year.
