OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 September 2009 was announced, that a round table "Partnership of civil institutions to solve regional issues" was held by the joint Project of UNDP and Institute for Parliamentary Development under "Nur Otan" on "fostering inclusive participation through building political culture of dialogue and negotiation" with participation of the Civil Alliance of East Kazakhstan.

On the threshold of the Republican Civil Forum IV the participants of the round table discussed efficiency of institutes and organizations of civil society in East Kazakhstan. The workshop was attended by representatives of NGOs?, political parties, Maslikhat deputies, etc.

The participants considered issues of activization of regional community to withstand economic crisis, mitigation of consequences, as well as NGO?s participation in industrial modernization, environmental issues and healthcare. The issues of improving interaction of civil society organizations with public bodies and local and international experience of public associations were considered in the light of the state social order process.

As a result specific steps were developed to build up a nationwide infrastructure of political partnership in Kazakhstan and appropriate recommendations and proposals for the executive authority, Parliament and public associations.
