OREANDA-NEWS. On August 31, 2009 Together with specialists of SOCAR’s Gas Export Unit and AzeriGas, the Russian specialists visited Shirvanovka gas compressor station to check its condition.

Besides, the Azerbaijani side was informed of the completion of reconstruction work at Novo-Filya station in Russian territory.

The parties also held discussions on the activities under way for the launch of Azeri gas exports to Russia.

Azerbaijani specialists will visit Novo-Filya station in September.

Under the agreemewnt between SOCAR and Gazprom, Azeri gas will flow to Russia from January 2010.
