OREANDA-NEWS. On 31 August 2009 was announced, that according to the preliminary information, total  premium collected by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Urals Federal District of Russia in the first half of 2009 amounted to RUB 1.0bln, which is 41.5% more than last year.

Total insurance premium for voluntary insurance other than life amounted to RUB 934mln (an increase of 39.2%), including for personal insurance - RUB 217mln (a decrease of 6.4%), for property insurance - RUB 700mln (an increase of 63.5%), for voluntary liability insurance - RUB 17mln (an increase of 59.0%). Total insurance premium collected for compulsory motor TPL insurance amounted to RUB 94mln (an increase of 68.2%).

Compensations paid by Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Urals region for direct insurance over 6 months of 2009 totaled RUB 529mln, including for voluntary personal insurance - RUB 139mln, for property insurance - RUB 323mln, for voluntary liability insurance - RUB 1mln. Compensations paid  for compulsory motor TPL insurance totaled RUB 66mln.

Over 6 months of 2009, the most dynamically developing business vistas in the branches of Ingosstrakh IJSC in the Urals Federal District were property insurance and compulsory motor TPL insurance.

The leader in terms of premium collection is Sverdlovsk region - RUB 432mln; Tyumen region came second with total premium of RUB 290mln. Compensations paid in these regions amounted to RUB 195mln and RUB 130mln, correspondingly.
