OREANDA-NEWS. August 31, 2009. JSC FGC UES announced its H1 2009 results, according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS)*.

The gross revenue of JSC FGC UES in H1 2009 was 41.2bn roubles, according to RAS, a 7.7bn rouble increase or 22.8% compared to H1 2008.  This was mainly due to a 20.7% growth in electricity transmission tariffs, with an average monthly tariff of 58,159.01 roubles/MW, compared to 48,170.26 roubles/MW in H1 2008.

Growth in revenue from [electricity] sales amounted to 4.8bn roubles compared to the same period last year. This is due to the growing share of an investment-earmarked add-ons included in the electricity transmission tariff in 2009, as well as the implementation of a tighter cost control programme.
