OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2009 was announced, that as of today, Oranta National Joint-Stock Insurance Company paid UAH 5,230,053 for this year's frost-damaged winter wheat and rape. Kirovograd region lost the most of these crops. The insurance compensations to the farmers of this region totaled UAH 2, 500. The compensations paid under winter wheat insurance contracts in Odessa region totaled UAH 800,000.
