At the talks they dwelt on further expanding of interaction between the USA and Kazakhstan, notably in the realm of energy, reported the Official website government.kz.

Richard Morningstar noted that the forthcoming energy summit to be attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan is of great interest to the USA.

When closing the talks, the sides reiterated willingness to further strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
