OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 August 2009 was announced, that the Tomsk branch of SOGAZ Insurance Group has signed insurance contracts for construction and assembly risks with the companies constructing a light naphtha isomerisation unit at the Omsk Refinery (ОNPZ).

Under these contracts, SOGAZ will provide insurance coverage for the construction and assembly risks and the civil liability both of OJSC OMUS-1, the project’s prime contractor, and LLC Research and Production Association Mostovik, also contracted for the project.

The insurer’s total liability limit amounts to RUR 7.581 billion. The project is insured till 2012.

The light naphtha isomerisation unit designed to produce high-octane motor fuel components will enable the Omsk Refinery to boost considerably its Euro-4 and Euro-5 gasoline output.
